FishCast is an offline-first fishing forecast app: cached weather and solunar data, on-device bite windows, barometric pressure and wind, plus a species catalog with mood, bait and lure art, and a catch log. Conditions show the day’s high and low and when rain or storms are likely. You can hide species you are not fishing and star the ones you want. No account required. Coastal tides and bite-window reminders are available for Premium users.
On-device solunar windows
Major and minor feeding times from moon and sun phases — plan trips around peak activity.
Fish mood and dials
Mood uses a fill meter, with approach and retrieve speed on twin dials, plus a day-score ring you can share as an image.
Species, bait, and conditions
A larger catalog with bait and lure pictures. The conditions card shows the day’s high and low and when rain, drizzle, snow, or storms are likely.
Target fish and catch log
Hide species you are not fishing, star the ones you care about, and log bait, time, conditions, and private pins of what worked.
Coastal tides (Premium)
NOAA CO-OPS tide predictions and on-device reminders about 30 minutes before major bite windows.

Common questions
Does FishCast work offline?
Yes. After a spot and forecast are cached, FishCast shows conditions, solunar bite times, and fishing scores without cell service. Intel recomputes on device from the cache.
What are solunar bite windows?
Major and minor feeding periods derived from moon transit, antitransit, moonrise, and moonset. FishCast computes them locally with sun/moon math (not a live bite API).
How is the fishing score calculated?
On device from solunar overlap, barometric pressure trend, wind, dawn/dusk context, and coastal tides when cached. Scores are planning aids, not catch guarantees.
Do I need an account?
No. Spots, forecasts, settings, and catch logs stay on the device. Premium uses Google Play billing via RevenueCat.
Is there a home screen widget?
Yes on Android. Premium users can place a FishCast widget showing today’s fish score, sunrise, and best window for the active spot from a cached snapshot.
