Request data deletion

Legal entity. The name of the series established by this Addendum shall be Knox Holdings LLC - Series A (operating internally and externally under the designated name “Knox Studios”). This page explains how to delete data associated with Knox Studios apps and services, including for Google Play data-deletion and privacy requests.

Summary. Many Knox apps do not require an account and store app data only on your device. Uninstalling those apps removes that on-device data. Where an app offers optional sign-in, you can email us to request deletion of studio-held account data. Advertising data from Google AdMob is processed by Google, not stored by Knox on studio systems.

1. Apps without accounts (on-device data)

For Knox Studios apps that do not create a cloud account, we do not store your in-app content or preferences on Knox servers. That data stays on your device. When you uninstall the app, Android removes the app’s local storage in the ordinary way.

To delete all on-device data for such an app:

Open your device Settings → Apps (or Applications) → select the Knox Studios app → Uninstall; or
Uninstall the app from the Google Play Store listing or your library.

After uninstall, the app’s local data is deleted from that device. If you reinstall later, it starts fresh unless you restore a backup you created yourself.

2. Apps with optional accounts (Firebase sign-in)

Some Services may offer optional sign-in through Google Firebase Authentication (typically an email address). If you created or used an account in a Knox app and want studio-held account data deleted, email us using the contacts below. Include:

The app name;
The email address associated with the account (or your Google Play contact email if that helps us locate the request);
A clear statement that you want your account / related data deleted.

We will process verified deletion requests for data we control, subject to any limited retention required by law or security. You may also manage certain Firebase-linked credentials through your Google account settings where applicable. For full practices, see our Privacy Policy.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Ad-supported Knox apps may show ads through Google AdMob. When ads are requested or shown, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, and device or request data. Knox Studios does not collect that AdMob advertising data into studio-operated databases.

To limit or reset advertising identifiers on Android, use your device settings (for example, reset or limit the advertising ID). You can also review Google’s advertising and privacy tools. In apps that provide Privacy settings, you may find controls to turn ads off or choose non-personalized ads (NPA) where offered.

4. Website and support communications

If you contacted us by email or through a website form, we may retain that correspondence long enough to respond and keep ordinary business records. To request deletion of support messages you sent us, email the contacts below and describe the messages (approximate dates and subject help).
