Does FurPal require an account or internet for logging?
No account. Care logs, timers, and reminders work on-device. Internet is used for ads (free tier), subscription purchase/restore, and the Map tab’s OpenStreetMap lookup.
Is FurPal the same as FurSync?
No. FurPal is a household pet journal. FurSync is a separate Knox Studios product aimed at farm and kennel management with shared records.
Can FurPal find nearby vets or dog parks?
Yes. The Map tab searches nearby OpenStreetMap places (vets, stores, groomers, parks, shelters, boarding) around your current location.
What does FurPal Premium include?
Ad-free use, Smart reminder timing, custom reminder intervals, and snooze / live-timer controls from the notification tray. Core logging, timers, static reminders, map, tips, and care streaks stay free.
Does FurPal replace a veterinarian?
No. Tips and reminders are everyday husbandry helpers, not diagnosis or treatment.
